Greetings, my dear followers,
As the Halloween season draws to a close, I hope you've had a spooktacular time. I unleashed my latest Halloween song, "Zombiefied," and it's a bone-chilling song that's sure to haunt your playlist.
My idea of the song was a Ronia the RobberĀ“s daughter (Ronja Rƶvardotter) inpired video, where Ronia comes to the castle and discovers that her castle is filled with scary characters! Ronia is played by Dominique Malmcrona, who is my friend Kimtinas Daughter.

"Zombiefied" is the 29th spine-tingling addition to my #onesongamonth project. If you've been following along, you know that I have been dropping a new song with a music video on the last Friday of each month. But this time, I released it one week ahead of Halloween because, as it turns out, Sweden knows how to keep the Halloween spirit alive a little longer. After all, here in Gothenburg, the biggest Halloween event is at Liseberg theme park, where the Halloween celebrations stretch throughout the entire month!
Now, let's dive into the heart of "Zombiefied." I took my Halloween spirit to the next level by renting an entire medieval castle ā Bohus FƤstning in Gƶteborg, Sweden š° ā as the backdrop for the music video. It's a place steeped in history, built way back in 1308, with tales of power struggles, Danish and Norwegian kings, and more. The video comes alive with the captivating visuals of this storied fortress.
I had a squad of talented friends who helped bring the video to life. A special mention goes to my 17-year-old son, who handled the drone footage so beautifully! The Drone comes from the swedish company Swedron Sverige.

Melisha is a Gothenburg-based 100% DIY artist, single mother and ownes a studio in Brewhouse. She has a bachelor's degree in music production from Dalarna University She is passionate about the DIY concept as she releases on her own label but also writes, produces, mixes and masters the music as well as edits and makes all her music videos herself.
