Today I’m releasing “Rain” — the 50th song in my #OneSongAMonth project.

I can hardly believe it. That’s 4 years of releasing one song, every single month — no breaks, no skipping. And as if the skies wanted to join in… it’s been raining here in Gothenburg for almost two weeks straight? I guess the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

☔ “Rain” is about honoring those inner seasons — the ones we often hide. We think we need constant sunshine to grow, but the truth is: growth takes rain. Seeds don’t sprout in the sun alone. They need the quiet, the dark, the water. And so do we.

🌱 This song feels extra special because it features my niece Natalie on violin and vocals, and her friend Martha on cello and vocals. Their contribution brought softness, strength, and soul to this track.

💛 A little backstory: I started this project during the pandemic, when the world shut down and my studio at Brewhouse Gothenburg — where I’ve been based for 13 years — suddenly stood still. As a producer, I’ve always worked on other artists' music. But when the silence came, something in me said: “Now it’s your turn.”

So I began. One song. Every month. No plan. No pressure. Just showing up to see what music would come through me. I write, produce, record, mix, and master everything myself — and the best part is: I never know what the next song will be. As long as I stay open to that mystery, I’ll keep going.
